About the Blog

Sometimes you need to remember that your experiences are not completely foreign. We want others to understand what we are going through.  And most importantly, we want it to be known by God. This is a place where I share the insights God has given me about our common experiences.  This is a place where I acknowledge the physical aspects of my experience with things like my anxiety disorder and talk about what God says about it.  Because it is not some uber-horrible experience- it’s a struggle that God has given me to reveal more about Himself and what His plan is (and isn’t) for my life.  And most importantly, He’s right by my side through it all, teaching me to walk with Him victoriously.

Jo Leggett is a blogger, speaker, and Bible Study leader.  She desires to blend her knowledge of scripture with understanding of how people work.  She finds words an amazingly creative outlet.  She is learning to boast in her weakness (especially her struggles with anxiety) so the Christ may be glorified through her.  She and her prescribing-psychologist husband delight in raising their four intense children.

Jo has a B.A. in psychology and an M.A. in Linguistics/TESL.  She loves to garden, sing, act, spend time or create story with friends, and play the bass.  She’s given up caffeinated coffee due to her anxiety disorder, but makes a mean cup of decaf.

Jo and her family live in Gallup, NM, which is not this green
